Dogs in Wellies Theatre Company celebrates the insight and craft that come with experience. We are creating acting opportunities and actively making and producing work to highlight the expertise and creativity of  actors and writers over the age of 50.   Our mission is to give voice and give a start to professionals in all phases of their careers.  We highlight mature and emerging artists  of all ages who share a commitment to meaningful storytelling.  

We are proud to work with graduates from drama schools, Royal College of Music, and English National Ballet School bringing new voices in music, choreography, and theatre onto theatre scene.

Our company is building a  diverse repertoire, one piece at a time (like Waving, a debut play by Rosalind Philp)  and experimental theatre (like Obit by Ava de Winter  &  Maximus Anderson)  We are bringing new voices onto the scene, giving emerging playwrights, actors, & directors the stage to have their work seen!  

We approach every production with care, craft and respect for the work. Our focus is on thoughtful storytelling, strong performances and the kind of theatre that stays with you long after the lights come up. 

We take pieces from  the first scribbles on a napkin to fully fledged productions, one step at a time, and give each piece the room to grow into its full potential. We refine, revise, prove, and perform a piece, letting it breathe, evolve, and mature. 

Waving began as a conversation, and is now poised to take the stage at Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
